Friends of San Angelo State Park

 

Friends of San Angelo State Park is a volunteer, non-profit organization that supports the park through events, projects, programs to increase visitation and by funding improvements. We are hikers, bikers, equestrians, bird watchers, etc.

Clean and Safe Picnic and Camp Sites

Including restrooms and showers, RV Hook ups, and cabins.

 

Fifty Miles of Hike, Bike or Horseback Trails

Where you will see native plants and trees and all kinds of wildlife.

 

Native American Petroglyphs

Check out the prehistoric reptile tracks too.

 

Bison and Longhorn Herds

Bison and Longhorn herds and many other animals, including deer, quail, and turkey.

 

Come Play Outside!

Great trails to find geocaches or view birds at the bird watching station. Don’t forget to visit the outdoor theater, two group pavilions and our two playgrounds.

 

Equestrian Campsites with Pens

Bring your horses and also spend some time fishing.

Over seven thousand acres of West Texas rangeland surround O.C. Fisher Lake and compose SAN ANGELO STATE PARK.
